In December 2023, Klovićevi dvori Gallery in Zagreb opened a major exhibition of Ivan Meštrović's work, with more than 200 pieces by the renowned Croatian sculptor. Svijet kulture, a special magazine edition of the Croatian daily newspaper Jutarnji list, marked the occasion with a 2-page infographic spread.
The spread works as a visual guide to the exhibition. It presents the key works on display alongside the essential moments of Meštrović's life, across both his European and American years.
Sculpture doesn't flatten easily onto a page. Each work had to stay recognizable at a small size and still sit inside a clear chronology, so a reader could follow a whole life and career in a few minutes.
